Hello Guys,

I am planning to but a smart phone but am confused to buy between a Android Phone and the N900 (Maemo) my inclination is kind of towards the N900 but the only thing that is stopping me is most of the people's opinion which says Maemo is not a Match to Android OS, That is stopping me from buying the N900. People are saying the Maemo OS is not as intutive as the Android, Plus Android has more APPS, the UI is much more cooler than Maemo. Can anyone please explain me here is there a diffference of Earth & Sky between Android OS and Maemo OS. From a pure user point of view how does it make any difference. I mean will there be, is there anything that Android can do which Maemo cannot !! what is so special about this Android Thing.

I mean I want to but the N900 but it does not have Android but looks like a great phone what do I do ?

If you could please enlighten me on the Android v/s Maemo Battle...

I'll make your mind up for you in just 10 words.

You can install Android on the N900 and dual boot.

Another nice trick that's just been implemented on the N900 is the ability to read USB memory sticks, external hard drives, mice and keyboards.  Wink
