Hi guys! I'm an avid fan of Nokia and Symbian phones from Philippines, and I'd like to share my interest in exploring new features in mobile technology particularly this new device and its Maemo platform for mobile communicators.

I'd like to witness how it performs well as a device, mobile communicator, and internet tablet, and be able to know what lies behind this new mobile OS.

I also want to know how worthy to have this device over the other existing and upcoming competitors and rivals in its level, and chat and meet people with the same interest.

I hope we can share each and everyone's knowledge on this stuff among all of electronic gadgets we've had.

Hi all! My name is Vlastimil Sindelar(V_S).I come from Czech Republic. I'm great nokia fan and I'm    interested in smartphones.(or mobile communicators if u want.)

N900 is (for me) like a bolt from the blue. The MAEMO OS is stunning. I think MAEMO can beat every other mobile OS in the market.I want also know if devices like N900 can repalce Notebooks and how will MAEMO evolve.

I must apologize my English is not very good. V_S Cry

hey everybody,
i'm from the US and up until a few days ago, i was ready to buy me a Samsung Jet, but then thats when a buddy of mine introduced me to the Nokia N900.  needless to say, i've been eagerly anticipating its release ever since.  at this point, the only thing i see to be a problem for me is that judging by the operating frequency, it seems like the phone will be heading to T-Mobile, which means i'd have to cancel my AT&T contract and sign a new one with T-Mobile Sad

It is a quad band world class cell phone.  It will work on AT&T, just not the 3G.  I don't get 3G where I am at and where I work, they have free wi-fi that I can get right from my desk! LOL!  So I don't worry about 3G so much.

Of course a lot of the below will start happening more frequently once the phone is launched and more and more people begin to register here.  However, if the phone is a success; I found that Nokia phones that don't have any problems, don't seem to take off very well in the states as far as forums go. LOL!  Double edged sword I guess.  But yeah, once the ball starts to roll, we will find out soon enough!  Grats to everyone who has one on pre-order (Nokia USA here) and can't wait to get my grubby lil mitts on it!  Smiley

Hi to all! Im from Manila, i got my unit last March 8 2010.

My question is, when i use the media player and play music or videos, it will only play it for only 3 times and on the 4th time it says that the "media format is not supported". I was able to downloaded mediabox and it works fine. But I would really rather use the media player. Any suggestions?

Is there a way to increase the fonts in the calendar and conversations?

Thanks for your time and help. Cheesy

Hi All,

Just picked up the Nokia N900 yesterday evening & am going through the features. Being a Nokia guy, it was easy for me to navigate through the phone. But don't want to do the mistakes I did with my Nokia N95 8Gb phone where I still haven't used a lot of the features in it except for using the phone in answering phones, sending & receiving sms, taking pictures or videos, listening to music / videos & browsing the net.

I am so far very happy with the new Nokia N900 that I picked up & that WOW !!! factor still in me. Looking forward to tips from all of you to help me move forward & get all out using this wonderful mini computer.

Love to All,
Pramod
